Conweigh is a new On Demand mobile Container weighing service that will enable shippers to comply with the IMO / SOLAS container weight verification legislation effective July 1, 2016. Conweigh is the only NMI Class 3 trade certified supplier in Australia. Conweigh service providers can be booked online or via the Apple or Andriod mobile app. Simply create an account, place a booking by entering the location of the container/s and an accredited service provider with certified lifting and weighing equipment will be dispatched to your site to weigh the container and instantly deliver via email or EDI a Verified Gross Mass Certificate.

Port of Melbourne Corporation

The Port of Melbourne Corporation is a statutory body established by the Victorian Government that is responsible for commercial shipping in the waters of Port Phillip, Melbourne and Geelong. Representing some of the largest containerised exporters out of the Port of Melbourne, APSA are major stakeholders in any reforms at the Port. APSA appreciates the commitment of the PoMC Executive to continue their commitment to industry engagement during the privatisation process.


VICT

After winning the international bid, Victoria International Container Terminal Limited (VICT) signed on 2 May 2014 an agreement with the Port of Melbourne Corporation for the design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and financing of the Port of Melbourne’s new international container terminal and empty container park at Webb Dock. The agreement will deliver a global standard in modern container terminal design, innovation and operations, and will become the flagship facility in Australia’s premier port. VICT are a major supporter of FTA and have already made an immensely positive impact on Australia’s international trade landscape.
