We are delighted that the senate inquiry and parliamentary process aligned with our advocacy giving industry another 12 months to implement the reforms associated with collecting GST on low value goods. While we will engage with the Productivity Commission, the ATO have made it clear that alternate models will not be considered. Industry would be well advised to start preparation for the "vendor colledction model" for a 1 July 2018 implementation. |
