DP World - Terminal Outage & Blockage

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) wish to advise members that all terminal operations at DP World Brisbane are currently affected due to system issues.

Following is the announcement from DP World (Brisbane):

Issue: *** TERMINAL OUTAGE DUE TO SYSTEM OUTAGE ***
Short Description: Carriers, The terminal has shut due to a system outage. No trucks can get in or out and our systems are down. Please be patient.

Members are encouraged to liaise with Shipping Lines who we expect will show some leniency in terms of container detention in these circumstances caused by their contracted stevedore. 

DP World Container Parks in Melbourne have also announced an unexpected road closure which is affecting traffic within the Melbourne port precinct: 

Issue: DOCK LINK RD - BLOCKAGE
Short Description: Hi Carriers,
Please note there is an unexpected closure at the intersection of Dock Link Road and Footscray Road. All vehicles are currently being redirected via Intermodal Road.
As a result, please expect significant delays, allow extra time.
