Western Sydney International Airport charts future vision with inaugural master plan - Call for Feedback
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have received a request from
Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI)
to
provide feedback on its newly released
Preliminary Draft Master Plan
- and they want to hear from the freight and logistics community. FTA/APSA members and stakeholders are encouraged to review the Plan and provide feedback. Your insights will help ensure that freight priorities and practical logistics needs are heard and factored into the airport's future development.

They discussed upcoming events and the vital work MTS continues to do for the global maritime community. It was an insightful and engaging conversation that reinforced the shared commitment to supporting those who work at sea.

for the customs broker licencing period 1 April to 31 March each year. The cost of an online training package is $150 (excl. gst) for member organisations with bulk discounts available on a sliding scale. New content is now ready for your completion.

NSW Freight Policy Reform - Final Report Released: Delivering Freight Policy Reform in New South Wales
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) welcome the release of the Freight Policy Reform Advisory Panel's final report,
Delivering Freight Policy Reform in New South Wales
, now endorsed by the NSW Government and publicly available at the
Freight Policy Reform Program website
.
While we are still undertaking a full review of the Final Report, we are pleased to advise members that both of our submissions to this process — the
FTA/APSA Submission to the Consultation Paper
(May 2024)
and our
Response to the Interim Directions Paper
(October 2024)
— appear to be well reflected in the final recommendations, reinforcing the strength of industry feedback and collaboration.
FTA/APSA thanks members for contributing to our submissions and will continue to represent your interests as implementation progresses. We strongly encourage all members to review the final report and monitor how these reforms may impact operational and commercial activities.
