The Australian Border Force has recently released a formal notice outlining the importance of export compliance.

With existing compliance rates low, this is a crucial topic for all exporters to address.

In this session Hunt & Hunt lawyers will focus on:

  • why export compliance is important;

  • common export compliance mistakes;

  • the export of controlled goods;

  • export related revenue issues; and

  • how to manage export compliance risks.

The session will also include a discussion of using declarations of origin (DoO) under ChAFTA.  This will include:

  • why use a DoO;

  • obtaining an advance ruling from Chinese Customs;

  • tips on using a DoO.
