Aviation Green Paper - Towards 2050

Many thanks to Tom Jensen, Head of International Freight & Logistics | FTA for his work in putting together the Freight & Trade Alliance submission to the Australian Government in relation to establishing the policy direction for Australia's aviation sector though to 2050. Thanks also to the many members who provided extensive feedback.

DP World - Exorbitant Landside Fees  / Deferral of TAC increase 

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) along with Container Transport Alliance Australia (CTAA) have continued to escalate advocacy in response to DP World announcing exorbitant landside fee increases that were to take effect 1 January 202. As a part of our bilateral meetings with Nicolaj Noes (Executive Vice President Oceania – APAC)  and DP World executive, FTA / APSA representatives requested a waiver of Terminal Access Charges (TACs), as a form of compensation, as their terminals manage ongoing Protected Industrial Action and the lingering impacts of the cyber incident. READ MORE
