We received advice last week that following the successful leasing of Port Botany, Lachlan Benson (Executive General Manager Industry Relations and Logistics) finished employment with the Sydney Ports Corporation this Thursday, 18 July 2013.
Lachlan did an outstanding job during his five years at the Corporation leading major reforms associated with Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy (PBLIS).
At a personal level, I found Lachlan to be excellent administrator, always actively looking to engage with industry and responding with practical policy.
We wish Lachlan all the very best for the future and will watch with keen interest to see where the next chapter in his career takes him.
