Announcement 4th April 2016.pdf

AGS World Transport Pty Ltd (AGS) has been acquired in full by current Executive Chairman in Terry Tzaneros on March 31st 2016.

After commencing operations in 1985 by the founding partners, the business was partially sold to private equity firm Wolseley Partners in August 2011, following the passing of Terry's former partner in Colin Holben.

Whilst Terry Tzaneros has been a significant shareholding partner in AGS since 2003, the introduction of Wolseley came about through a period where the business was focused on overseas expansion opportunities. There is no doubting the partnership of Wolseley and Terry Tzaneros has resulted in a bigger and stronger AGS, moving more TEU and cube today by sea and air, than ever before.

"Today is a very proud day for all involved. Our good friend Colin would be smiling upon us today, as we bring the business back into private hands, and we look forward to the most exciting years ahead" says Terry Tzaneros.

"The last 12 months in particular has been an exciting period of growth for AGS, with a very strong focus on our customers, delivery and service capability. This would not be possible without the strong partnership and support of our International network of agents, CFS depots, and key shipping lines. Particular mention goes to the hardworking management and staff of AGS, whom have throughout the years maintained a strong focus and loyalty to the business, making it the success that it is today".

With over 30yrs of success as a leading N.V.O.C.C, the management and staff look forward to a very exciting future for all involved.
