Who does this notice affect?

Biosecurity industry participants and accredited persons operating under approved arrangement class 19.

What has changed?

Dates for the next Continued biosecurity competency (CBC) activity have now been published on our CBC webpage. The CBC 2026-27/02 activity will be available from Tuesday, 13 October 2026.

The activity includes both a learning and assessment component which will be delivered through our education and training platform, Learnhub.

All accredited persons must complete the activity by Tuesday, 10 November 2026. Failure to meet CBC requirements will result in suspension or cancellation of approved arrangement class 19 accreditation. Additionally, it may result in administrative actions against the approved arrangement holder.

To avoid delays, accredited persons are encouraged to confirm they can access Learnhub before the CBC activity begins.
