Who does this notice affect?
This notice applies to:
- Treatment providers managing Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) risk goods
- Importers and industry participants managing goods subject to BMSB seasonal measures
- Industry stakeholders seeking approval to undertake onshore Ethyl formate fumigation treatments
- Biosecurity industry participants (BIPs) holding an approved arrangement for:
- class 4.6 - Fumigation site and/or
- class 4.7 - Secure unpack for treatment of seasonal hitchhiker biosecurity pests.
What is changing?
Please be advised that the following import class conditions are now in effect:
- new class 12.4 - Ethyl formate fumigation conditions (version 1.0)
- amended class 4.6 - Fumigation site conditions (version 6.0)
- amended class 4.7 - Secure unpack for treatment of seasonal hitchhiker biosecurity pests conditions (version 3.0).
