ACFS Port Logistics - CEO message - Update 6
Friday, August 14, 2026
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have received the following notice from ACFS executive.
Friday 14 August 2026
Dear Customers and Partners,
I want to start today's update by thanking our 1,600-strong team. Our trucks are operating, our people are turning up and delivering every day, and our operational capacity remans available to service our customers' import and export container requirements.
Today's update focuses on confirming specific arrangements across our FCL transport and depot operations, access to cargo and equipment, and guidance on what our customers can expect moving forward.
FCL Transport and Depot Operations
I can confirm there are no disruptions to our FCL Transport and Depot operations. Specifically:
ACFS Transport's fleet continuing to operate at normal capacity.
Import container collections and deliveries continuing in accordance with customer requirements.
Export container movements continuing through normal terminal and operational processes.
Terminal access and operational arrangements being maintained to support our transport fleet.
Empty container movements continuing through the appropriate nominated empty container depots, noting that over 70% of dehires and or Pick ups are to / from ACFS e-Depot as BAU.
Our transport operations, planning, customer service and fleet teams continuing to operate as normal at full capacity, and no changes to staffing at all.
Customers should continue to book and manage their FCL transport requirements through their usual ACFS Transport contacts and systems.
There is no change to the way our customers should engage with our operational teams.
Customer Cargo and Equipment
Additional guarantees have also be set in place to provide customers with certainty around cargo and equipment during this process. The arrangements established during the administration process provide that:
Customers will continue to have access to their cargo and equipment.
No lien, detention right or lock-up will be asserted over customer goods handled or transported by ACFS.
Where a customer requires goods held at an ACFS facility to be relocated, arrangements are available to facilitate that relocation.
These and other assurances have been made by the Receivers and Managers, BDO. You can see a copy of BDO's correspondence confirming these assurances

Our Commitment to Customers
We recognise that certainty and consistency are critical to our customers, particularly where their supply chains involve shipping lines, terminals, transport, depots and multiple time-sensitive movements.
You'll continue to hear from me over the administration process that our immediate priority is simple:
keep our trucks moving, keep our customers containers moving and maintain the service levels our customers expect from ACFS.
Our transport and depot management teams remain focused on fleet utilisation, terminal movements, delivery performance, customer service and maintaining operational continuity.
Importantly, our team remains in place. You can continue to deal with your normal ACFS contacts and operational teams.
Looking Forward
ACFS has built its business around its customers and our people, and
our customers and our people remain our greatest strength.
It is my responsibility to ensure that our business continues to earn your confidence and support. We will continue operating our fleet, transporting your containers and providing the Depot services you rely upon every day.
If you have any questions regarding your FCL transport requirements, upcoming volumes or specific container movements, please contact your usual ACFS Transport representative.
Kind Regards
Arthur Tzaneros
