Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) has received advice from the release of Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) in relation to upcoming AusTreat information sessions: Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) risk season 2026-2027
DAFF are hosting annual information sessions for pre-border treatment providers and related industry ahead of the 2026-2027 BMSB risk season.
The sessions will cover the following topics:
General AusTreat and BMSB update
ProviderHub registration portal updates
The department's observations from the 2025-2026 risk season
The department's compliance verification activities for 2026-2027
There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions at the end of each session.
