Further to last weeks member notice regarding the 2026-27 Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) season, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have received further advice from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), via Import Industry Advice Notice 141-2026.in response to industry feedback, DAFF has added a second industry information session covering the BMSB seasonal measures applying to certain goods shipped to Australia as sea cargo between 1 September 2026 and 30 April 2027 inclusive.The sessions will cover goods being imported, shipped or treated during the BMSB risk season.BMSB Information Session One – Virtual Event
