INTEGRATED CARGO SYSTEM (ICS)

MESSAGING DELAYS
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received reports from members of messaging delays with the Integrated Cargo System (ICS).

Members have also separately reported slow response times when accessing and navigating the ICS user interface, including delays when attempting to retrieve and review cargo information.

FTA has escalated these issues to the Australian Border Force (ABF).

ABF has subsequently issued the following advice:

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing delays with EDI messaging. Clients should be aware that ICS UI is not affected and can be considered for clearing urgent cargo.

The issue is being investigated as a matter of priority.

ABF apologises for any inconvenience caused.
