Who does this notice affect?

First point of entry (FPOE) operators,?aircraft?operators, shipping agents, importers,?brokers?and others.

What has changed?

The?biosecurity?FPOE determination for?Broome International?Airport?has been?varied?-?Biosecurity (First Point of Entry—Broome International Airport) Determination 2020.

As a result,?the Cobham Hangar biosecurity entry point (BEP) has been removed and replaced with a new BEP called Leidos Hangar.

Permission must be obtained from the department prior to any arrival at?Broome International Airport?that is not?permitted?by?the?FPOE determination.

It is the obligation of the person in charge of?an aircraft?to ensure that the?aircraft?complies with?the relevant FPOE determination. Operators and other stakeholders should consult relevant FPOE determinations to ensure that their proposed?aircraft?or goods movements are compliant with the current determinations.
