DP World - Port Botany - Protected Industrial Action (Certis Security) UPDATE 5

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) wish to advise members that DP World Port Botany terminal gates will be closed on Friday 24 July 2026 at 1200hrs due to protected industrial action undertaken by the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) against Certis Security.

FURTHER NOTICE OF PIA - CERTIS PORT BOTANY 

This is to advise that the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) is taking further protected industrial action against Certis Security on Friday, 24 July 2026 between 1200 and 1600.
Last zone will be 1100 and gates will close at 1200 sharp. 

Please have your drivers arrive at the terminal by 1200 to avoid being rejected.
While this industrial action is not directed at DP World, our Port Botany Terminal will be impacted.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while this protected industrial action is taking place.

Further updates will be provided if operational conditions change.
