Who does this notice affect?
Pre-border biosecurity treatment providers applying for registration under AusTreat.
What has changed?
ProviderHub is now live for fumigation and heat treatments, enabling a new, more convenient way to register as a pre-border biosecurity treatment Provider under AusTreat. In June, additional functionality will be released to allow self-service.
What is ProviderHub?
ProviderHub is the registration platform which delivers an online capability for the department and treatment providers to manage registration information, and to self-service for updates to details on their applications.
ProviderHub has replaced the paper-based processes and will make registration easier for industry and Government.
What does ProviderHub mean for me?
ProviderHub replaced manual processes and the use of forms, providing faster processing and an improved user experience.
ProviderHub has been released with the ability to register under AusTreat for methyl bromide, sulfuryl fluorid, ethyl formate fumigation and heat treatments.
Registrations for controlled atmosphere will continue to use the existing forms.
When will I be able to start using ProviderHub?
ProviderHub self-service will be available for use in late June 2026. New pre-border biosecurity treatment providers are able to register via the application now. Links and further information are available on the AusTreat page.
