DAFF - IAN : Plant Exports - Export systems expected maintenance outage

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to notify all Export Documentation system (EXDOC) and Plant Exports Management System (PEMS) users of a maintenance outage to export systems.

Summary of changes and key points

• EXDOC and PEMS will be unavailable from 11:00 pm, Saturday 27 June 2026 to 4:00 am, Sunday 28 June 2026 (AEST).
• During the system outage, users will be unable to initiate or submit an inspection record in PEMS and request services from EXDOC.

Exporter responsibilities

Familiarise yourself with the timing of the expected system outage and its impacts. We recommend having export documentation completed prior to the outage window, if possible.

Authorised officer responsibilities

• Familiarise yourself with the timing of the expected system outage and its impacts. 
• Inspection results will need to be recorded prior to or after the outage.
