Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received advice from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry that the Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) course is live now (as at 5.32 pm AEST Thursday 11 June 2026) and all accredited persons have been enrolled.
The following email has been sent to all accredited persons late this afternoon:
"Dear accredited persons,
We are writing to provide an update on the Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) training.
Due to circumstances beyond the control of Cargo Information Policy, there has been a delay in publishing the CBC training materials to Learnhub. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.
The CBC training is expected to go live by Friday 12th June, and may be available earlier.
The completion deadline for the training will be 24 July, regardless of the exact go-live date. This ensures all participants have a minimum six-week period to complete the training.
You will receive a notification from Learnhub confirming your enrolment once the training is available.
Thank you for your understanding and continued cooperation. If you have any questions, please email class19@aff.gov.au.
Mark Sobey
Director, Cargo Information Policy"
