Who does this notice affect?

This notice affects importers of fresh table grapes for human consumption from the Republic of Korea, brokers and Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessments and Inspections.

What has changed?

Market access for fresh table grapes from Korea has been limited to three varieties - Kyoho, Campbell Early, and Shine Muscat.

On 5 June 2026, import conditions in BICON will be updated to permit all varieties of Vitis vinifera and V.Vinifera hybrids for import, from the Republic of Korea.  

An import permit is not required.
