Who does this notice affect?

All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period (e.g. clients required to use the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS).

Information

Restored time: As of: 00:02 Monday 01 June 2026 (AEST).

The unplanned service disruption to COLS has been resolved. Users can now submit lodgements in COLS as normal, and should no longer receive error messages associated with issue. Broker with account client entries should no longer be charged assessment fees incorrectly/in error.

Action

COLS users are advised to submit lodgements as normal. The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
