Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period (e.g. clients required to use the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS).
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS) during this planned maintenance period.
All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned maintenance period.
Information
To support a system release, there will be a scheduled outage to COLS, PEBS and the Online Payment Portal (OPP) from 23:00 Thursday 28 May to 02:00 Friday 29 May 2026 (AEST).
Users of the above-listed systems will be unable to access these services for the duration of the outage.
Action
Users of the above-listed system are advised to await the completion of this planned maintenance period before attempting to access these services.
The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
