Dear export industry members,
The Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) is working on improvements to export regulation for certain goods.
As part of this process DAFF has opened a Have Your Say consultation to hear from you—producers, facility operators, and exporters—to gain your thoughts on the proposed changes, and how DAFF can best support you during the implementation. The Have Your Say has been extended till 15 May 2026, and can be found at https://haveyoursay.agriculture.gov.au/export-assurance-reform.
This consultation is for industry members involved with goods, like:
- rendered goods
- animal food
- skins and hides
- honey and honeybee products
- wool and wool grease
- pharmaceutical, technical and blood products
- food and beverages.
