Changes to Revenue Management forms

Several forms in Revenue Management have been updated and are now available for use on the Customs website.

The below forms have been updated to simplify and standardise content:

- NZCS 608 Guarantee for payment of sums
- NZCS 615 Direct debit authority

A new form has been published for importers and brokers who are applying for a deferred payment account. This form replaces NZCS 613 Application for a broker deferred account, and NZCS 614 Application for a deferred payment registration:

- NZCS 616 Apply for a deferred payment account

When applying for a deferred payment account, applicants will need to provide evidence that they have authority to act on behalf of the business entity. A new form has been published to support this requirement:

- NZCS 617 Letter of authority

These changes will provide a better user experience and make the forms easier to understand.

From 1 April 2026, all requests must be submitted using the newly published versions on the Customs website.

Getting export information right matters

Waybills and export documentation must always present accurate information for Customs purposes.

When export details are incorrect or incomplete, it can cause delays, additional costs, and compliance issues for exporters and their customers.

Incorrect details can also have serious legal and compliance consequences.

Before submitting export information, take a moment to check that all details are complete and correct.
