Who does this notice affect?
Approved arrangements operators, customs brokers, importers, manned depots, and freight forwarders who are required to book and manage requests for inspections through the Biosecurity Portal using the 'Sign in with your Digital Identity to access' pathway.
Approved arrangements operators who will be required to view electronic government certificates (eCertificates) and relevant attachments online via external verification for eCertificates (EVE) as part of document assessment for imported goods.
Class 14.4 approved arrangement operators attempting to access/report rural tailgate inspection outcomes.
Information
Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance at Services Australia, there will be a scheduled outage between 20:00 to 21:00 Friday 17 April 2026 (AEST) to the following departmental systems and services which require Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) and / or Digital Identity (myID) to access:
- Biosecurity Portal – 'Sign in with your Digital Identity to access' pathway, including the following linked systems and services:
- Inspection services
- Approved Arrangement (AA) Class 14.4 outcomes
- External Verification for eCertificates (EVE)
Users of the above-listed affected systems and services may experience intermittent outages of up to 20 minutes during the outage window.
The following departmental systems and services are not impacted during the outage window and will be accessible as normal:
- Biosecurity Portal – 'Sign in with your email address to access' pathway, including the following linked systems and services:
- Inspection services
- Approved Arrangement Management Product (AAMP)
- Biosecurity Cargo Status Tracker (Industry Reporting)
- ProviderHub

Where possible, users of the above-listed affected systems and services are advised to await the completion of this planned maintenance period before attempting to access these services.
