Who does this notice affect?

All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this unplanned outage.

All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this unplanned outage.

All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this unplanned outage.

All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this unplanned outage.

Information

Resolved time: Between 11:07am and 12:15pm Thursday 1 April 2026 (AEDT) there was an unplanned outage to the following systems:

• Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
• Maritime and Aircraft Reporting System (MARS)
• Online Payment Services (OPS)
• Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)

The unplanned outage to the above listed systems and services has now been resolved.
