Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have received a notice to industry from Qantas Freight regarding possible delays affecting import shipments at Melbourne Airport:Published 31 March 2026
Repair works are currently underway on the Export Transfer Vehicle (ETV) at the Melbourne Freight Terminal.
During this time, minor delays may be experienced for import freight due to additional handling requirements. There are no current delays for our export operations as a result of these works.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update when available.
