Who does this notice affect?
All clients submitting the below declarations:
- Full Import Declaration (FID)
- Long Form Self Assessed Clearance (LFSAC)
- Short Form Self Assessed Clearance (SFSAC)
- Cargo Report Self Assessed Clearance (CRSAC)
- Cargo Report Personal Effects (PE)
- Cargo Reports GAS
- Cargo Reports BMSB
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned maintenance period.
All importers and customs brokers using an entry number who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment.
Information
Due to scheduled system maintenance at the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA), there will be an outage to the DoHA's Integrated Cargo System (ICS) from 23:00 Saturday 28 March to 04:00 Sunday 29 March 2026 (AEDT).
As a result, messaging between the ICS and the Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) systems will be queued and will send following the conclusion of the outage. Clients anticipating responses from the department in relation to the above-listed declaration types may experience some delays in receiving these responses.
