Session 2 will take a sharp, practical look at the real-world Errors & Omissions (E&O) risks confronting transport and logistics operators. In this session, the panel will unpack how everyday operational missteps — the kind that happen in the rush of bookings, documentation, handovers and instructions — can quickly escalate into serious customer losses, cargo damage and costly claims.
The discussion will be split into two key focus areas: - Financial loss exposures – including failures to arrange cargo insurance, fumigation oversights, delays in issuing shipping documents, and wrongful delivery.
- Physical cargo loss and damage risks – such as incorrect temperature instructions, labelling errors, and inaccurate cargo information passed through the chain.
