Who does this notice affect?
??First point of entry (FPOE) operators, aircraft operators, shipping agents, importers, brokers and others. ?
What has changed?
????The biosecurity FPOE determination for Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport has been amended - Biosecurity (First Point of Entry—Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport) Determination 2022.
??As a result, Jet Aviation Terminal has been removed as a biosecurity entry point for baggage as it is no longer operational.
??Prior permission must be obtained from the department prior to any arrival at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport that is not permitted by the FPOE determination.? ?
??It is the obligation of the person in charge of an aircraft to ensure that the aircraft complies with the relevant FPOE determination. Operators and other stakeholders should consult relevant FPOE determinations to ensure that their proposed aircraft or goods movements are compliant with the current determinations.?
