11 February 2026?

Who does this notice affect?

??First point of entry (FPOE) operators, aircraft operators, shipping agents, importers, brokers and others.

What has changed?

????The biosecurity FPOE determination for Perth Airport has been amended - Biosecurity (First Point of Entry—Perth Airport) Determination 2019.

??As a result, new biosecurity entry points (BEPs) for baggage have been added as follows:?

  • ??the terminal located at 26 Newton Road, Perth Airport
  • ??the terminal located at 131 Fauntleroy Avenue, Perth Airport
  • ?the terminal located at 145 Fauntleroy Avenue, Perth Airport

??Two BEPs for baggage, Jet Aviation Australia Terminal and Pearl Flight Centre Terminal, have been removed as they are no longer operational.

??Prior permission must be obtained from the department prior to any arrival at Perth Airport that is not permitted by the FPOE determination.

??It is the obligation of the person in charge of an aircraft to ensure that the aircraft complies with the relevant FPOE determination. Operators and other stakeholders should consult relevant FPOE determinations to ensure that their proposed aircraft or goods movements are compliant with the current determinations.
