Information

Update: A fix was applied to the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messaging at approximately 13:57 Tuesday 03 February 2026 (AEDT).

However, the department is still experiencing messaging delays with DoHA systems – these messages are continuing to queue.

Start time: As of: 09:34 Tuesday 03 February 2026 (AEDT).

The DoHA – EDI messaging service – is currently experiencing an unplanned service disruption. As a result, messaging between DoHA, including the Integrated Cargo System (ICS) and DAFF systems, are currently being queued.

These queued messages will send following the conclusion of the unplanned service disruption.

Action

This issue is under urgent investigation by DoHA and the Australian Border Force (ABF). The department will advise once DoHA/ABF confirm services have been restored.
