Fremantle Ports has successfully completed a planned remediation program at H Berth, delivered over a 9-day shutdown period from 5 to 14 January 2026.
The works were proactively scheduled and closely coordinated with our Operations team to align with the period prior to the SailGP event and to minimise disruption to berth users. We are pleased to confirm the works were completed safely and on schedule.
The remediation program forms part of Fremantle Ports' ongoing strategy to prioritise critical maintenance, enhance asset resilience, and reduce the risk of unplanned outages across operational berths.
Key works delivered included:
- Pile refurbishments
- Mooring bollard refurbishments
- Deck soffit repairs
- Sheet pile wall (reinforced concrete and steel) works
- Concrete deck repairs
- Fender inspections and maintenance
- Line marking and grapple beam painting
These works support the ongoing structural integrity, safety, and serviceability of the wharf, ensuring continued reliable operations in a demanding marine environment.
Thank you for your cooperation during this planned shutdown.
