Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to notify all Plant Exports Management System (PEMS) users, including plant export clients, exporters and authorised officers, of an outage to the PEMS system due to a production upgrade.
Summary of changes and key points
- PEMS will be unavailable during:
- Thursday 22 January 2026, 5:00 pm to Friday 23 January 2026, 4:00 am (AEDT)
- During the system outage window, users will be unable to initiate or submit an inspection record in PEMS.
Exporter responsibilities
Familiarise yourself with the timing of the expected system outage and its impacts.
Authorised officer responsibilities
- Familiarise yourself with the timing of the expected system outage and its impacts.
- Inspection results will need to be recorded prior to or after the outage.
