REBOOT: Mindset Academy was founded by former National Rugby League players Mitchell Pearce and Todd Carney, both of whom experienced significant challengers on and off the field. Open and honest about their past experiences, Mitchell and Todd each reached a pivotal turning point - a moment of clarity that inspired them to take ownership of their choices, embrace meaningful lifestyle changes and commit to a healthier, more positive future.
Motivated by a shared desire to help others navigate life's challenges, Mitchell and Todd established the REBOOT: Mindset Academy, a registered charity dedicated to empowering individuals to realise their full potential.
The vision is to contribute to a world where every individual - no matter their past - has the tools, support and belief to rebuild their mindset, reclaim their story and thrive in life. We envision communities where open conversations about mental health are welcomed, where compassion enhances performance and where lived experience is valued as a powerful force for change and motivation.
The REBOOT: Mindset Academy programs cater to all groups, with a strong focus on youth development, recognising the importance of early intervention in building resilience, confidence and mental wellbeing. The charity offers mental health education, resilience training, leadership development and life skills workshops - designed to inspire and support disengaged youth, those who are at risk of offending and for all school aged children. We work with the support of a professional team of counsellors, psychologists and psychiatrists, working with community organisations at the grass roots. |
