KTL Australia Hosts Gala Dinner Celebrating Nearly Two Decades of

 Excellence in Logistics in Australia

KTL Australia Hosts Gala Dinner Celebrating Nearly Two Decades of Excellence in Logistics in Australia – Celebrating Cultural Connections.

On 30 October 2025, KTL Australia hosted invited guests at the amazing Eureka 88 Skydeck in Melbourne to celebrate their 17-year history in Australia.

The KINAY (KTL) Group is a privately owned company, now proudly led globally by Mr. Sina Kinay, grandson of the company's founder. KTL began its Australian journey in 2008, with visionary founders Rick and Aneta Tankir, establishing the company's first base at Garden Drive, Tullamarine.

The gala dinner brought together industry leaders, customers, partners, and KTL team members for an evening of insights, connections, and celebration all set against Melbourne's stunning skyline, overlooking the MCG, Port Phillip Bay, and the Port of Melbourne, where much of the company's trusted trade begins its journey.

More than 120 guests attended, including representatives from import and export industries, shipping lines, government agencies, and international trade organisations, many sharing strong commercial and cultural ties with Türkiye.

The evening was hosted by comedian and MC Nazeem Hussain, whose signature humour and warm delivery set a relaxed and engaging tone. His light-hearted reflections on Australian life and business resonated deeply with guests and mirrored KTL's brand personality: professional, genuine, and approachable.
Keynote speaker Matt Eryurek, CEO of KTL Australia, shared his decades of experience across global logistics spanning land, air, sea, and rail. He spoke passionately about the balance between technology and human expertise, noting that while AI is reshaping the industry, people remain at the heart of true customer service.

"Our industry is sprinting towards one-stop-shop production lines and AI-driven solutions," Mr. Eryurek said. "Technology is important, but without people fighting for customers when problems arise, options to resolve issues will disappear. Freight forwarders play a critical role in ensuring that customers have real support
Sal Milici, General Manager Trade Policy & Operations at Freight & Trade Alliance was privileged to have been an invited guest and said "What a wonderful evening at the KTL Australia Pty Ltd gala dinner at the iconic Eureka Tower in Melbourne. Nights like this are a great reminder that our industry thrives on connection, shared purpose, and great people."
A big thank you to the entire KTL Australia team for hosting and for the invitation — especially MATT ERYUREK , Makaela Cramp, and Rick Tankir for putting together such a well-run and genuinely enjoyable night.
