Purpose This Market Access Advice (MAA) is to notify stakeholders of updated requirements when raising a Request for Export (REX) for milk and milk products to Great Britain using health certificate template ZDGB01. Summary of key points Header Storage Establishment From 31 August 2025, header storage establishment information will be mandatory when raising a REX for milk and milk products exported to Great Britain. When completing a REX, please provide the export registration number in the header storage establishment number field. - The header storage establishment is the manufacturing or cold storage establishment where the milk or milk products were last stored in Australia prior to export.
- The header storage establishment must appear on the list of Great Britain approved establishments.
On the issued ZDGB01 health certificate, header storage establishment information will appear in Box I.11 'Place of Origin'. Total Gross Weight From 31 August 2025, total gross weight will be mandatory when raising a REX for milk and milk products exported to Great Britain. When raising a REX, exporters must enter the gross weight in the Gross metric weight amount and Gross metric weight unit field against each product line. Box I.20 'Quantity' will display both total gross weight and total net weight. Previously, only the total net weight was displayed in Box I.20.
