Adverse weather preparation for period 1st August - 4th August 2025
Update 1 All Shipping Agents operating in the Port of Fremantle are to note the following Current weather forecasts indicate a prolonged adverse weather event for the period 1 st August - 4 th August 2025. To ensure good risk management during the adverse weather and in the interests of Port, Terminal infrastructure and Vessel safety, the following will be implemented in preparation for the adverse weather.
Preparations for and the vessel evacuation process in preparation for the adverse weather will commence on today - Thursday 31st July 2025.
• Weather forecasts are being frequently monitored and any changes to the above will be communicated accordingly, including notifications regarding resumption of berthing of vessels.
• It is important that all vessels evacuating from the port are required to stay well clear of Fremantle Ports' approaches and the surrounding coastal areas.
