DAFF: IAN 2025-19: Transition to NEXDOC – Inedible Meat - Registration now open

Registered inedible meat exporters, manufacturers, agents, freight forwarders.

Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) - Central and Regional offices.

Summary of changes and key points:

To notify that registrations are now open for inedible meat in the NEXDOC system.

This transition includes products such as raw pet meat, processed pet food, animal feed containing animal-derived ingredients, rendered products, technical materials, and pharmaceutical substances.

Registration in NEXDOC is now open for inedible meat exporters, agents and freight forwarders

Inedible meat exporters and software users must register in NEXDOC to continue obtaining export documentation for inedible meat.

  • You can register for NEXDOC through our client portal.
  • If you're already registered for NEXDOC, you will need to add the inedible meat commodity to your account.
  • Guides on what you need to register for, depending on your business type and structure are located on our website.

Please note: A transition date for inedible meat has not yet been finalised. Updates will be provided as soon as they become available.
