| Following the conclusion of our recent national CPD events, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) has approached Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) to assist in gathering industry feedback on the recent integration of imported food standards into the Biosecurity Import Conditions system (BICON). We are pleased to confirm that the project to incorporate imported food safety requirements into BICON was successfully completed on 14 June 2025, with cases going live on 15 June 2025. Your input will support further system improvements and may be used (with your consent) in promotional efforts to raise awareness of the enhanced BICON platform.
