Purpose To notify agricultural exporters and freight forwarders: - of a planned ICS outage
- what to do to avoid disruption to exports.
Key points - The Australian Border Force (ABF) has advised of an outage affecting the ICS between
00:01 and 04:00 Wednesday 25 June 2025 (AEST). - In the unlikely event that rollback is required, the outage may extend 1 hour until 05:00 Wednesday 25 June 2025 (AEST).
- The outage will affect EDI messaging and hence
EXDOC and NEXDOC Single Electronic Window (SEW) services. - During the outage, SEW EDN request and update messages will queue. The ICS will process EDN messages after the outage.
- Exporters with digital certificates may be able to obtain EDNs by logging in to the ICS directly.
What to do to avoid disruption to your exports If you have exports scheduled to depart Wednesday morning, please obtain clear EDNs before 24:00 Tuesday 24 June 2025 (AEST). Further information
