Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) wish to advise that nominations are now open for the 2025 Australian Biosecurity Awards. These prestigious awards recognise individuals, groups, and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to Australia's national biosecurity system. Deputy Secretary for Biosecurity, Operations and Compliance, Justine Saunders, highlighted the importance of acknowledging the efforts of biosecurity champions, stating that the awards shine a spotlight on those whose innovation, leadership and collaboration help protect our environment, economy and way of life. Last year our very own John Park (Head of Business Operations) was presented with the Industry Australia Biosecurity Award at Parliament House in Canberra.
