Dear *|FNAME|*
Last year, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) announced our collaboration with Swinburne University as part of the Sudoku in addressing the skills and labor shortage to provide an avenue for new entrants into customs brokerage, freight forwarding and broader supply chain roles.
We encourage you to consider engaging with new talent via Swinburne University's 2025 Semester 2 Professional Placement & Student Internship Program which is now open for placements. Swinburne students from across all discipline areas can take part in this initiative, from Supply Chain and Logistics students to Finance, Marketing and HR.
Applications are open and students must start by the week commencing 4 August 2025 so make sure to act soon if you are interested!
This initiative is available to organisations with Victorian operations only. We strongly encourage you to consider this important opportunity.
As well as providing your organisation with valuable resources for the prescribed period, this initiative offers the ability to:- easily access fresh talent and build your employee pipeline;
- build your brand and reputation as a great place to work;
- increase diversity within your organisation;
- keep your finger on the pulse of new perspectives and different ways of thinking;
- give your staff an opportunity to develop leadership and mentoring skills; and
- drive your corporate social responsibility agenda
