Who does this notice affect?

All clients required to use the department's Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) during this planned maintenance period.

All clients submitting the below declarations:

  • Full Import Declaration (FID)
  • Long Form Self Assessed Clearance (LFSAC)
  • Short Form Self Assessed Clearance (SFSAC)
  • Cargo Report Self Assessed Clearance (CRSAC)
  • Cargo Report Personal Effects (PE)
  • Master Consolidator Declaration Forms

All users of the Seasonal Pests (SeaPest) system.

Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, the following services and systems will experience intermittent outages from 09:30 Friday 25 April to 23:59 Sunday 27 April 2025 (AEST):

  • DAFF messaging
  • BICON
  • SeaPest

Action

No action required for SeaPest users or clients submitting declarations.

BICON users are advised to frequently save any in-progress permit applications during this planned maintenance period.
