The purpose of this industry advice notice (IAN) is to alert organic operators and exporters, approved certifying bodies, and industry bodies of the department's launch of a new public consultation on proposed amendments to the National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce.

The proposed changes and additions relate to the inclusion of a proposed new algae section in the National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce.
