FTA PROMOTES TOM JENSEN TO EXECUTIVE ROLE

After thirteen years since inception, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has established itself as Australia's lead international trade representative body with 530 corporate members, secretariat services to the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) and an expanded alliance providing support to several prominent industry associations. Importantly, FTA also provides mandatory compliance training to over one thousand licensed customs brokers and importers.   As we execute our next phase of growth, we look forward to making a series of prominent announcements. To that end, we are delighted to announce the promotion of Tom Jensen to the full-time role of General Manager Freight Policy & Operations.

Since joining FTA over two years ago, Tom has consistently demonstrated outstanding personal and professional qualities making him the ideal person to take on the newly created executive role. While maintaining the lead on freight policy matters, Tom will take on an increasing role in FTA business operations and liaising with our international affiliations (including the Global Shippers Forum and Asian Shippers Alliance). Importantly, Tom will work alongside Sal Milici (General Manager Trade Policy & Operations) to manage the ongoing FTA and APSA growth and industry lead on communications, operational support and advocacy.
