An FTA member is looking at diversification in their operations and are looking to acquire a business with existing statutory reporting and cargo handling of e-commerce import and / or export consignments.

Acquisition is not contingent on minimum throughput or turnover.

QUOTE 2025/04 - SEEKING THE ACQUISITION OF A CUSTOMS BROKERAGE BUSINESS AND / OR OPERATIONS

Further to our campaigns in March and November 2024, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has successfully supported a member in acquiring the following:
  1. a stand-alone customs brokerage business; and 
  2. the customs clearance business only from a freight forwarder (the selling business is continuing to own and operate their own forwarding operations)
The FTA member is looking at further expansion noting acquisitions are not contingent on minimum throughput or turnover.
