ABF - Upcoming Weekend Outage to ICS - Saturday 8 February 2025

Friday, January 24, 2025

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) has received notice from Australian Border Force (ABF) of an upcoming scheduled outage to ICS effective Saturday, 8 February 2025.

Details as provided by ABF are as follows:

On Saturday 08 February 2025 the Department's internet service provider is implementing essential upgrades, which will require two short outages to all client-facing CCF/ICS services, including EDI messaging and web application access.

The outages are expected to be about 15 to 30 minutes each, beginning at 14:00 (AEDT) and 18:00 (AEDT) respectively. In the unlikely event that the upgrades need to be rolled back, another 30 minute outage is expected beginning at about 20:15 (AEDT).

Industry clients should make arrangements to have cargo cleared outside of these hours. However, EDI messages sent during the outages will queue and be processed when connectivity is restored.

Australian Border Force apologises for any inconvenience caused.
