Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) would like to inform members of planned protest activity being held nationally in most major cities on Saturday 25 May 2024.
Pro-Palestinian supporters are planning to conduct mass demonstrations at numerous ports across the country on Saturday as part of a national day of action aimed to expand Boycott, Divestment and Sanction (BDS) campaigns against ZIM Shipping and all Israeli trade
Further information on the action is publicly available on the Unionists for Palestine website, with action listed to take place at the following locations:

- Brisbane: 50 Port Dr, Port of Brisbane

Short Description: Due to protest action taking place in the port area tomorrow Saturday May 25th Foreshore Road will be closed north bound between Penrhyn Road and the Port Botany boat ramp from 13:15 to 15:00. Trucks over 25m may not be able to leave the Port area during this time.
