ATTAINMENT STATEMENT

The Australian Border Force will again host a MANDATORY online course that will attract 3 CPD points in Stream B (timing and availability be advised).

This means that licensed customs brokers must complete an additional 27 CPD points before 31 March 2025 to meet the annual requirement of 30 CPD points. It is important to note that a maximum of 12 CPD points in Stream B count towards the required 30 CPD point total.

Detail is yet to be provided in terms of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) requirements for this licensing period - further updates to follow.

Your attendance at this week's CPD Border Compliance Program event will provide you with 23 CPD points: 14 CPD points in Stream A & 9 CPD points in Stream B AND on a COMPLIMENTARY BASIS you can complete your remaining CPD & CBC obligations via the new FTA online Training Platform "MYFTACPD" that is scheduled to 'go live' on 1 June 2024.

As we have done in previous years, MYFTACPD will provide a record of your CPD points gained through FTA training with an online "Attainment Statement".

We will follow up with further detail soon.
